Botanical is the “Brisbane Wattle” - Acacia fimbriata,

Fauna is a Violet Budgie - Melopsittacus undulatus.

Tub Budgie in colour is more relaxed but still cheeky, we can see it soaking its backside in the left-over of the gravy. Hand colouring also allows one to enjoy the details of the feathers and the flora. It was a pleasure to cut the details in the leaves, flowers and branches of the wattle for this one.

Sold unframed, each image will be signed and dated as per convention. There are only 12 of these prints being made.

Lino block artworks go through a rigorous process when they are being printed and allow the artist to create multiple prints. When a print is ordered, it will look mostly like the image presented on the website, following the same colour scheme, but due to the process of hand painting, the blending of tones and colours will be some variation between the prints. There will be dents in the paper made by the Lino Block making an impression on the page, this is a part of the material practice leaving the paper slightly embossed. When purchasing unframed artworks, some printmaking marks may appear in the unprinted portion of the page, these should be covered when the work is mounted/framed.
