Bespoke tourist items

Working together with teams to generate specific artist designed items is an interesting creative process. I take the time to explore and research the needs and location, I prepare a range of drafts to check in with the stake holders prior to executing the final work for production. Clients can have the option of paying for the licence of the design to produce the pieces themselves, or have me hold the licence and the business purchase a production run.

Working closely with the team at Dundullimal homestead, after working with the team about the importance of the restoration and goals of National trust and the volunteers, I designed and had printed the "Blue -Banded bee"  cotton/linen tea towel. A portion of the sales supports National Trust and the homestead.

Creating a range of black line drawings for the Chris O'Brien Lifehouse was a pleasure, I gifted them the illustrations that they can offer to their patients for colouring in. Helping out the Clontarf foundation at the school I was working at. I had conversations with the team about the purpose of the images. I created a range of 7 drawings of native animals as different types of students for them to use with their cohort, they were used widely in the school as welcoming activities at the start of the year, used as mindfulness tasks and for working together with the students to talk thought issues with a mentor.
