Applying the ancient skill of relief printing to your weird object is a fun way of learning. Bring the object or a photo of it and we will convert it into a reduction print. This session will show you how to create a colour, black and white print from 1 block.

About the event
Sessions are intimate - with a maximum of 10 participants - it is limited to deliver a quality experience. All sessions are presented by a professional artist.
Highlighting an ordinary object to be illustrated, in this manner, is engaging for the maker and the viewer. Adding a sense of play allows us to relax more with the process and lets us work through issues.
To complete a reduction print in 3 hours we will be working with broad strokes, strong forms and lines. A refined work will take a lot longer to complete. This session is to teach/learn how the reduction process works - for those who can already do this, it to enjoy making a work with others.
